- English Activity:
- Book Character Day (Hall / Classroom activities with different moral values)
- Lesson design should include elements from different National security major interconnected fields
- Each grade designs learning activities related to national security topics to promote national security education (At least 1/term - specific content must be listed on the schedules and collaborative lesson plans).
- Each subject's curriculum design may include a component on promoting Chinese culture to family members/others, helping students deepen their understanding of the country and strengthen their sense of national identity.

- To promote students’ reading and writing skills and develop their creativity in writing
- Reading to writing strategies and materials developed from previous School-based Curriculum Development from EDB (Primary) Section will be made sustainable.

| Routine Work of the English subject |
- Part-time NET lesson
➤P.4-6: 1 lesson / class / week
➤Main focus: Speaking activities from Listening and Speaking Workbook.
- Reading
➤Promote students to borrow more printed books
- According to certain textbook topics, P.3, 5 and 6 students are encouraged take turns (e.g. 6 students at a time) to borrow printed books from the library and introduce them on padlet.
➤Raz-Kids online reading platform
- Assignments, activities and prizes are organized and given to encourage students to read, listen, record and do reading comprehension exercises on the platform.
➤Reading at Home:
- Students are encouraged to read English printed books, e-books, newspaper articles or magazine articles. They need to fill in the Reading at Home reading record form and certificates will be awarded accordingly
- Digital Education:
➤The use of Google Classroom, Padlet and Lango Plus
- Google Classroom and Padlet are used e.g. before (preparation), during (interaction) and after (consolidation) class.
- Lango Plus
- Tasks will be assigned to P.5, 6 students in alternate weeks so they can practice interview skills at home.
- Tasks will be assigned / done in P. 6 Thursday Speaking Class.
- Their progress will be supervised by the English teachers and incentive scheme will be established to encourage them.
- Through parents meetings the related information on how to operate the app will be transferred.
